Confidential Research & Investigations has been providing discreet, professional investigative services to a wide array of clients since 1997.  A sampling of our investigations, with our clients' permission, are detailed below:

- Utilizing a reliable "confidential informant", we were able to assist local, state and federal law enforcement authorities gain valuable inside information about a local motorcycle gang whose leadership were later indicted and convicted on major weapons and drug violations (1997).

- After conducting a Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) sweep , our agency discovered hidden video cameras installed in the rented home of two female Colorado College students who had become suspicious that their privacy was being violated.  Subsequent investigation led to the arrest and conviction of the rented home's owner / landlord.  (2000)

- Despite warnings that an insurance scamster (who was also a former police officer) had a propensity for violence, our agency accepted a worker's compensation investigation assignment which resulted in our operative's successfully obtaining video evidence of this lawman-turned-criminal's fraudulent activities.  (1996)

- Since 2004, our agency has been involved in the on-going investigation and support into the as-yet unsolved serial killer case dubbed as the "East Area Rapist / Original Night Stalker" case, following up leads both here in Colorado Springs and in the vicinity of the crimes in California.  (2004-Present)

- In cooperation and conjunction with the Colorado Springs Police Department's Robbery unit, our agency assisted in the investigation of the serial robberies of local McDonald's franchises which ultimately resulted in the suspect being caught during random surveillance by the CSPD's SWAT team.  (2002-2003)

- Our agency, at the request of a local prominent defense attorney, conducted an impartial investigation into the case of a military servicemember accused of several internal "conspiracy to escape custody" violations while awaiting sentencing in a nearby county's jail - Our investigation refuted these charges and eventually they were dropped by the military judge in his original case.  (1998)

- An independent investigation into the death of a murdered Fort Carson soldier whose body had been found by local hunters almost a year after his disappearance was conducted by our agency which led to assisting in ascertaining pertinent information about the primary suspects in the case, and which was subsequently turned over to Army law enforcement officials in the arrest and prosecution of the case.  (1998)
